Tate Twat

So Andrew Tate wants to ‘run for PM.’ And some Americans think this is a good idea.

A couple of things here. No one runs for PM. The prime minister is the leader of the largest party in the House of Commons and is invited by the Crown to form a government. This isn’t a presidential election. Secondly, Tate is a nasty piece of work who is currently accused of the very crimes that have just ensnared the UK government. So frying pan and fire springs to mind.

Yes, we need a change of government. A narcissistic neanderthal, less so. On the plus side, regardless of political affiliation, a majority will never vote for this knuckle-dragger.

  1. Andrew Tate? I think that I’ve heard the name but can’t remember who he is or what he is known for.

    • He is currently under house arrest in Romania while they investigate people smuggling and child sex accusations. The man thinks he is some sort of alpha male who teaches incels how to date women. He sees women as second-class citizens who are merely playthings for men. A real piece of work, frankly.

  2. To be accurate ‘The prime minister is the leader of the largest party in the House of Commons and is invited by the Crown to form a government’ is not a rule, it is merely a long-standing convention in the UK system.
There is nothing preventing anyone being invited to form a government, for example, Nigel Farage (only 5 MPs) could become Prime Minister of a coalition government made up of over 325 MPs from various parties. Unlikely perhaps, but constitutionally feasible.
It’s not even a legal requirement to be an MP in order to become Prime Minister, so any of us could do it – and probably far better than any recent one.
