So some woman I’ve never heard of (and would like that to continue) uses Twatter to make racist remarks about white people and gets flack for it. Meh.
The official Star Wars Twitter account has tweeted in support for Krystina Arielle, the host of the upcoming Star Wars: The High Republic Show, after she received online harassment.
Tweets by Arielle surfaced of her speaking about the role white people play in upholding racism.
She then started receiving racist abuse, and accusations of being racist.
Well, yeah. If you start accusing a group of people of being racist because of the colour of their skin, then yes, you are the racist. It seems though that this kind of racism is good, while the other way around is bad.
Sorry, but no, Arielle is as much a racist as the Alf Garnett types. They are as bad as each other.
Horrible, vile woman. And as for the Star Wars franchise – I gave up on that long ago, which is why this nasty piece of work had completely bypassed me.
This is not the first time someone involved in the Star Wars franchise has reported receiving racist abuse.
Perhaps they should refrain from dishing it out, then?
I have unintentionally come across TV trailers banging on about racism being on the rise. It never seems to occur to them that those that claim to be against racism have done nothing but stir up racial division for a whole year. I had never ever entertained the notion that I was racially superior. I have always despised white supremacists, especially as they tended to be the kind of low browed knuckle draggers that could hardly claim to be superior to anyone. But now that the likes of BLM have drawn my attention to my white privilege, I have started to ask myself why white people have been so much more successful than other races?
