I Got it Wrong Again…

One thing you can say about Pants down Ferguson is that he is consistent. Consistently wrong about everything all of the time. And just to prove it, he and his fellow charlatans in SAGE are wrong again.

Hospital admissions for Covid-19 have fallen to the lowest level for two months as bleak warnings from government scientists once again failed to materialise.

Latest data shows Britain is ‘over the worst’ of the pandemic after the number of virus patients admitted to hospital fell by 15 per cent in a week.

So far this week, just 557 patients a day have been admitted to English hospitals, despite the Sage committee’s dire warnings of a devastating autumn surge.

Only last week, Sage published modelling warning there could be 7,000 hospitalisations a day within weeks.

But current admissions are half the level of even its ‘best-case scenario’.

The document drawn up by Sage on September 8 projected that hospital admissions would this week be between 1,000 and 3,000 a day in England.

Yet, despite repeated failures, despite them being wrong every time they make a prediction, the government goes back to these “advisors.” The other disturbing issue is that not only do the government fall for the same nonsense over and over, so do people out here in the real world. The scary predictions fail to materialise, yet people are scurrying about, afraid of their own shadows, wearing stupid masks and vilifying people who haven’t had a vaccine.

I sometimes think that we haven’t progressed very much as a species from the credulous people of the medieval period and their superstitions. It’s just the the high priests and the superstitions have changed.

But latest data suggests the epidemic is flat in the UK and there has been no major surge in cases since schools returned.

Across the UK there are 7,588 Covid patients in NHS hospitals.

A fairly normal day, then. Carry on as you were.

Professor Neil Ferguson admitted there had not been the ‘rapid increase’ in Covid cases following the return of schools that some scientists had feared.

But the epidemiologist, whose modelling was instrumental in the first national lockdown, warned that further restrictions may still be needed this winter, such as social-distancing.

Fuck off.

  1. How can somebody who is so wrong so often still keep his job? He must know where a lot of bodies are buried.

    • yes he does because he is responsible for every suicide, early cancer death and other failures of intervention. The NHS is unfit for purpose but at least there was a small chance of early intervention saving lives before the current panicdemic. That’s gone.

  2. He’s just another in a long list of useful idiots.

The whole scam has been pushed on lies threats coercion false promises you name it, it’s keeping pressure on a long bamboozled almost brainwashed public to do as they are told, but almost willingly.
If you don’t get your jab you can’t go on holiday etc, how did that work out for them, but we all know people who went along thinking their lives would resume normality if they just did this or that whatever they were told was the saving action of the day.

The compliant are preventing this from ending.
Until enough people say bloody NO this will carry on, ratchet style, for ever.

The first steps to stopping this:
switch off the idiot box in the corner, change or mute radio stations whenever the state propaganda known as the news is on, do not ever read an msm publication, especially have nothing whatsoever to do with the BBC, oh and cancel the telly licence…within a month of doing this millions would be out from under the spell.

  3. I only watch cricket and the odd game show. I never buy newspapers and haven’t listened to the radio since I got Spotify. I don’t think that accounts for me not buying all the bullshit though, I put it down to being thoughtful and relatively well informed.

  4. I think that the government might be going to him for advice on energy policy as well, it certainly looks like it.

  5. “Across the UK there are 7,588 Covid patients in NHS hospitals”.
Now what exactly does that mean?
7588 in hospital because of covid?
Or 7588 were admitted to hospital for something else but subsequently tested positive (possibly having caught it IN hospital)?
Everything they say is a lie. Even when they are wrong…..

  6. “the government fall for the same nonsense over and over”

No they don’t. They want to lock down people, destroy the economy and give themselves greater and greater powers. This is the ideal excuse and they can claim that they are taking “the best advice” while delegating responsibility to someone else.
