On the subject of cultural enrichment, we get this.

Four police officers were injured in violent scenes in South London yesterday following protests by the Eritrean community.

Around 50 people gathered outside a private venue before violence broke out, the Metropolitan Police said.

The clashes in Camberwell saw people wielding sticks and clashing with officers after ‘tensions in the Eritrean community’, the force added.

Frankly, they can take their tensions back to Eritrea. Deport every single one of them. Preferably by force and drop them off at thirty thousand feet. This is what mass, uncontrolled immigration has given us. Welcome to the third world. London is now a part of that steaming shithole.

I wonder why.

  1. It seems impossible to avoid the most profound pessimism these days. Is there any escape from being constantly reminded how screwed everything is?

  2. “I tell you naught for your comfort,
    Yea, naught for your desire,
Save that the sky grows darker yet
    And the sea rises higher.”

  3. Whatever happened to good old fashioned British street fighting, with Teddy boys and Mods and Rockers!

Ho Ho Ho, said Plod, those were the days…

  4. This is why I don’t support the idea of hate crimes or speech.

Without those categorisations there is no need to ponder the cause or liaise with community leaders etc. If people break the law arrest them and if appropriate convict them – without fear or favour. And if there are not enough police pull them off community work and set them to dealing with law breakers.

  5. Plod is also to blame – they took the knee to BLM and crack down hard on non-existent Far-Right, racist and transphobic speech. Now the results are coming back to bite them on the arse.

  6. If it is the Daily Mail and I read the headline about a crime or riot, I immediately look at the comments. If they say that they are not accepting comments, you just know it is about one of the many protected classes in the UK with a much better sun tan than me.

It saves me having to read the article concerned.
