How Many Times?

When will they get it? The Forestater case set in law the principle of gender critical views being a protected position. It is not a crime – hate or otherwise.

An artist is allegedly being investigated by the police for a ‘hate crime‘ and was told she cannot attend her own exhibition without 24 hours’ notice after sharing her gender views with a council worker.

Victoria Culf, 43, claimed the ordeal started after she talked to the council employee about transgender ideology while making a cup of tea at Watford Museum last June.

The artist claimed she was setting up her exhibition when she politely told the employee she believed allowing children and young people to change sex is harmful.

She added that the Gender Identity Development Service clinic at the Tavistock Centre should be closed down. The clinic, which has faced scrutiny for its treatment of children with gender dysphoria, is shutting down at the end of March.

Ms Culf claimed she then received a call from the council telling her of ‘harassment’ allegations, adding that she could not go to her own exhibition without 24 hours’ notice.

She has not broken the law. The police have subsequently acknowledged this. Frankly, she should go to her exhibition whenever she likes without giving any notice and tell the council to get fucked.

  1. I wonder who started the conversation about this transgender ideology? Unless the exhibition has that as it’s theme, I would find it difficult to slip in “I think transgender ideology can be so bad for children” in between ” Do you take milk? ” and “Sugar?”. From what I know of Watford, it’s just another Soviet style council where ‘badthink’ is quickly reported to those in power. Yet another reason why I don’t go anywhere near this shithole.

    • The thing to do is never, ever pass the time of day with a state employee (local or central). Just state your business, communicate only as and when required. They aren’t human. They aren’t there to help you. Don’t treat them as such.

Do you chat with or thank Siri or Alexa when they follow your command? No? Then why would you do so with a council drone?

  2. She didn’t receive a call from the council: she received a call from a self-appointed gender bender who happened to be employed by the council. Temporarily, I hope.

  3. If you look hard enough for offence you will find it, whether it exists or not. And some of those looking for offence are obsessives with no sense of proportion.

  4. “The Forestater case set in law the principle of gender critical views being a protected position.”

‘Course, in a couple of weeks here in Jockland, the opposite will be the case. Expressing such views – even in private – will be, explicitly, a “hate crime”, punishable by imprisonment. I never thought I’d see the day.

And where’s the ECHR? Hiding behind Article 10.2: “The exercise of these freedoms, since it carries with it duties and responsibilities, may be subject to such formalities, conditions, restrictions or penalties as are prescribed by law…”. Fucking useless pile of shite.

  5. Sam Duncan: Yet again Scotland will become a laughing stock thanks to the Schottische Nazionalische Sozialiste Partei.
