How Dare you!

How fucking dare you!

The Archbishop of Canterbury has said being vaccinated against coronavirus is a moral issue.

The Most Rev Justin Welby said that getting the jab reduces the chances of illness being spread and that ‘it’s not about me and my rights to choose – it’s about how I love my neighbour’.

This is a perversion of the principle. I am not a christian, but if I was, I’d be ashamed to have this moral vacuum as my spiritual leader. Firstly, declining a medical procedure is not a moral issue – it is up to each individual to decide based upon their assessment of the risk. That’s it. Declining a procedure without the evidence with which to make informed consent is not a moral issue. What is a moral issue is using the population at large as a mass experiment without their specific informed consent. What is absolutely a moral issue is attempting to coerce people into a medical procedure using fear, threats or in this case, false equivalence – claiming that we are immoral if we decline. This man should be defrocked, frankly. He is even worse than his useless predecessor.

His comments come as Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that people could go ahead with their Christmas plans but there is ‘continuing uncertainty’ about the severity of the fast-spreading Omicron variant and hospital admission rates.

Yada yada yada. Covid patients are around 5% of hospital admissions. The unvaccinated are a smaller proportion of this. Again, single figures, maybe less than 2%. So there is not a problem here. The archbishop is a liar, a fraud and a charlatan.

Asked during an interview with ITV News At Ten if being vaccinated is a ‘moral issue’, the archbishop said: ‘I’m going to step out on thin ice here and say, yes, I think it is.’

He added: ‘A lot of people won’t like that, but I think it is because it’s not about me and my rights.

‘Now obviously there are some people who, for health reasons, can’t be vaccinated – different question – but it’s not about me and my rights to choose.

It is absolutely about my right to choose. What the flying fuck does he think the Nuremberg protocol is about? Why does he think (okay, ‘think’ is a strong word for this vacuous, half-witted cretin) it came about? No one – absolutely no one – should be subjected to any coercion to accept a medical procedure without their fully informed consent and given that we do not have sufficient long term data, that fully informed consent is not possible. So, yes, it most certainly is about my right to choose. My body, my choice. And Welby can fuck off.

As an aside, a year ago, my attitude was one of lethargy. I really didn’t feel any great need to get this vaccine in the same way I don’t bother with the flu one. Now, given the level of coercion on display I am ever more determined to resist. They are too stupid to get it. I guess they never will, but I doubt that I am alone in digging my heels in because I will not be bullied. And Welby can fuck off. Did I say that already?

  1. This is thé problem with state religion. The state gets to dictate to the clergy what to preach.

  2. You aren’t alone. There are plenty of people out there, like us, who are refusing the vaccine and are contemptuous of the bully boy tactics.
The internet is actually helpful, there are plenty of substack pages with many comments and posts showing that people all over the world are resisting. Of course, these are not mentioned by the farcical media.

    Welby is a moron.
I don’t see how anyone sane can think its moral to try and coerce somebody into getting an undesired medical procedure to protect yourself or others…

  3. “The archbishop is a liar, a fraud and a charlatan.”

Actually that is a concise summing up of his job description.

  4. On the subject of coercion, why can’t more countries in the world be like Japan? See the following item from yesterday on The Daily Sceptic:

    https://dailysceptic.org/2021/12/21/do-not-discriminate-against-the-unvaccinated-japanese-government-tells-citizens/

So, as one of the most advanced countries in the world, Japan has advised its citizens not to coerce people to get vaccinated, or to discriminate against the unvaccinated. Why can’t our government be more like the Japanese government?

  5. Infuriating.

Justin Welby is a socialist. If there’s one group of people from which I won’t take any lectures about morality, it’s socialists. Marxist ideology is downright genocidal.

Right now, on the other side of the world, Welby’s fellow socialists are practicing forced medical procedures. That includes forced abortion, forced contraception, forced sterilisation, forced organ donation.

Coerced vaccination is an early step on that same path. Welby’s support for it is one of the least moral things I’ve ever heard come out of the mouth of an Anglican.

I had the initial vaccine. I won’t be having any more as long as the state is trying to force them on people. As of now, the only moral position is to reject any vaccination until we see the end of coercive measures like denial of liberty through vaccine passports, and like the incessant shaming that socialists like Welby are trying to pull.
